Training and more Training

In about a week I'll be taking training for both Adobe Illustrator and Indesign.
Of course these are for work however I am hoping that the training will aide me in personal endeavors altering photographs, creating collages, and being more crafty.

I love crafts and creativity just havent had time to do either!

Family Picture Time!

We have been so busy in life lately that there are so many posts to catch up on!

About a week ago we had an amazing photographer take our family photos. She is acutally from Louisville, KY however was in town visiting family and sent out an SOS to photograph families in our area to build up portrait portfolio. I jumped at the chance to get a true feel of our family dynamic through candid photos rather than in a tiny studio doing the "prom pose" with my husband - yet again....

Her website is here:

Here are a few pictures from our session

Some things are just worth reading twice

Daddies dont let girls grow up to be tramps!

Excerpt:

" I saw someone at the airport the other day who really caught my eye.
Her beautiful, long blond hair was braided back a la Bo Derek in the movie "10" (or for the younger set, Christina Aguilera during her "Xtina" phase). Her lips were pink and shiny from the gloss, and her earrings dangled playfully from her lobes.

You can tell she had been vacationing somewhere warm, because you could see her deep tan around her midriff thanks to the halter top and the tight sweatpants that rested just a little low on her waist. The icing on the cake? The word "Juicy" was written on her backside.

Yeah, that 8-year-old girl was something to see alright. ... I hope her parents are proud. Their daughter was the sexiest girl in the terminal, and she's not even in middle school yet."
